VSI announced that Andy Bolding has joined the business as Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), effective Monday, 12 October.

The newly created role reflects VSI’s sharper focus on product development, AI-enabled solutions and technology that directly supports its commercial proposition. As CPTO, Andy will be responsible for VSI’s product and technology strategy, including product development, technology platforms and AI-enabled solutions.

William Russell, CEO of VSI, said: “Our technology strategy has evolved with a greater emphasis on product development, AI-enabled solutions and technology-led localisation that directly supports our customer’s requirements. Andy’s exceptional reputation and experience will build on the strong foundations that Scott has established and help us deliver more complex multi-language, multi-service and multi-format projects at scale”.

VSI would like to thank Scott Rose, who steps down as CTO this month, for his commitment and contribution over the past three years in shaping the company’s technology roadmap and setting VSI on the path towards AI-enabled workflows and automation. Scott will remain with VSI in an advisory capacity to support a smooth transition.

The appointment brings VSI’s operational, product and technology capabilities closer together, creating a more integrated, efficient and technology-enabled localisation business while maintaining its core focus on delivering the highest quality service to clients.
