Project Coordinator Intern

Have you recently graduated in Audiovisual Translation or a similar degree? Are you looking to start a career in the localisation industry? Look no further!

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is keen to acquire experience and build a career in the localisation industry. The position is a 12-month full-time paid internship as a Project Coordinator, and the lucky candidate would be working alongside project managers in our various production departments, providing support on a wide variety of high-profile localisation projects.

The ideal candidate should have a proactive mindset, willingness to learn and be part of a hard working, fun loving team.

A high standard of written and spoken English is required for this role.

About the role: 

  • Providing ad hoc administrative and production support as required by the team and the company.
  • Creating support material for production teams, such as subtitling or graphic templates.
  • Tracking source material and final deliverables according to agreed schedule.
  • Ensuring that the database is kept up to date with projects notes etc.
  • Continuously liaising with the responsible PMs.
  • Providing support when sourcing and contacting freelance suppliers (Translators, Subtitlers, VO artists, etc).
  • Preparing and submitting Shipping tickets with relevant information to upload or download assets, as per project managers’ instructions.
  • Raising issues that may occur during the course of a project with your assigned mentor.
  • Ad hoc QCing, preparing different type of exports and offsetting of subtitling files.

  • Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to multi task and work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexible team player, willing to 'go the extra mile' to get the job done.
  • Self-motivated and ability to use their own initiative.
  • Outgoing and confident personality.
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word knowledge is essential. 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • An understanding and interest in languages (the ability to speak another language would be useful, but is not essential).
  • Working knowledge of a subtitling software would be a plus.
