Casting Supervisor

We are looking for a Casting Supervisor to join our growing English dubbing production team. In 2020, we established our In-house Production (IHP) team at VSI, which has seen rapid and significant growth since its inception - the team has more than doubled in size.

The Casting Supervisor works alongside the Production Coordinator and dubbing producers in the IHP department, providing support on a wide variety of high-profile language projects.

About the role: 

  • Monitoring all scheduling trackers, coordinating all production timelines and proactively problem-solving according to production needs
  • Planning the schedule of recording sessions, engineer time, audio QC and some VT work based on our timetables, effectively updating estimations when necessary
  • Supervising the studio diary based on priorities and availabilities, successfully creating schedules for various project requirements/company services
  • Preparing and sending out contracts and all necessary documentation for talent and agencies, as well as contacting and negotiating fees at kick-off stage
  • Acting as a main point of talent sourcing, providing casting suggestions to directors and internal team members as needed, as well as assisting with VO requests from Sales
  • Liaising with Vendor Management to filter applications, update and further add to our voice talent database, ensuring it’s kept organised and up to date

About you:

  • Proven experience in scheduling
  • Technical and creative understanding of the production process
  • Strong organisation, time management and planning skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and work well both independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • A friendly and positive can-do attitude
  • Some form of artistic background (particularly related to voice acting) strongly desired
  • Knowledge of entertainment media, other languages and a linguistic or creative background are a plus
