To strengthen our freelancer pool, we are looking for experienced subtitlers (m/f/d) with English as their mother tongue and German as their first working language.

VSI Berlin GmbH was founded in 2005 and is part of the VSI Group, an international language services company headquartered in London with over 25 offices worldwide. Our services include: dubbing, voiceover, subtitling and translation of multilingual projects, transcription as well as access services.

What we are looking for in you:

a degree in translation, alternatively a degree in audiovisual translation or a comparable course of study
industry experience in the form of internships / traineeships with subtitling training
high level of expressiveness and stylistic confidence, strong feeling for language and excellent translation skills
excellent knowledge of one of the common subtitling software (e.g. EZT) incl. frame-accurate spotting
own subtitling software
