VSI Strengthens Leadership Team to Drive Next Phase of Growth

VSI announced changes to its executive leadership team, effective 3 September, marking the next chapter in the company's development.

Norman Dawood, the founder of VSI, will move from Chief Executive Officer to Executive Chairman. William Russell, currently Deputy CEO, will assume the role of CEO. Alex Weiser will move into the role of President, reflecting the pivotal role he plays in developing VSI’s client relationships globally, driving commercial growth and leading the company’s operations in the Americas and Asia.

"From VSI's early beginnings to the global organisation we are today, our success has always been driven by the talented people across VSI, our deep client relationships and the strength of our leadership team," said Norman Dawood. "As we look ahead, it is important that our leadership structure continues to support our strategy, our clients and our long-term ambitions."

William Russell has played a key role in managing the business day-to-day, shaping VSI's strategy and leading its team, positioning him well to lead the company into its next phase of growth.

Alex Weiser has made a significant contribution to VSI's growth, particularly through his leadership of the company's commercial relationships and its business in the Americas and Asia. His new role recognises the importance of these responsibilities and gives him an even broader mandate to drive growth across the Group.

Together with the wider executive team, William and Alex will continue to build on the strong foundations that have made VSI what it is today, while positioning the business for the opportunities ahead. Norman remains fully committed to VSI and, as Executive Chairman, looks forward to supporting William and Alex and the wider leadership team.
