About the client

For more than 30 years, Sunset+Vine has produced coverage of a diverse range of sports and won many awards in the process, including 6 BAFTAs. Their headquarters are based in West London where about 60 production staff are employed. 

Over the years, Sunset+Vine have produced content for Channel 4’s Paralympic Games including events held in Rio de Janeiro, Sochi and London. They were also the Host Broadcaster of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the IAAF World Championships from London.

VSI London has teamed up with multi-award winning production company, Sunset + Vine to provide the foreign versions of the acclaimed Gillette World Sport. The show was first broadcast in 1984, and at its peak, it aired in over 180 territories worldwide, making it the most widely distributed sports television programme in the world.

Now, after a seven-year hiatus, the show has resumed its weekly format, with a particular focus on precision in sport, examining the technology and training used by athletes to perfect their techniques.

Our approach

VSI provided a comprehensive localisation solution, supplying translations and voice-overs in French, German, LA Spanish and Russian.

They were all recorded in-house at our London studios to extremely tight deadlines.
