Audio Operations Manager

The Audio Operations Manager is responsible for organizing the technical and human resources required for the production of audio programs. They supervise a team made up of audio operations technicians, audio operators, senior audio operators, audio engineers and any other roles involved in audio production.

This is a full-time position based in Paris.

About the role: 

Responsibilities include: 

General Obligations

  • Comply with and ensure compliance with internal procedures, technical standards and quality processes.
  • Guarantee the confidentiality and security of the content processed.
  • Proactively propose improvements to tools, processes and working methods.
  • Represent the audio department to clients and the VSI Group on technical matters.

Team Management

  • Supervise, lead and coordinate the audio operations teams to ensure the quality of services and compliance with deadlines.
  • Manage both internal and external audio operators and senior audio operators.
  • Plan and organize human resources according to production priorities.
  • Ensure team skills development and the sharing of best practices.

Audio Production Management

  • Oversee the audio laboratory to ensure the full audio production chain is delivered in accordance with the quality standards defined by VSI and clients’ technical requirements.
  • Monitor all audio projects throughout their production cycle.
  • Contribute throughout the lifecycle of projects, from anticipating technical constraints to estimating the time required for the various production phases.

Studio Operations

  • Ensure the proper functioning and continuous availability of the audio production facilities.
  • Manage any specific configuration required for the successful completion of projects.
  • Provide technical support to studio users.

Technical Management

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of audio equipment and studios.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and production tools.
