Vendor Management Intern

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate who is keen to acquire experience and build a career in the procurement sector of the localisation industry. Reporting to the Vendor Manager, the Vendor Intern will assist the team with admin tasks and any other ad-hoc support that may be required on a 1-year contract

The ideal candidate should have a high standard of written and spoken English, be able to adapt to the changing demands of the fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and communicate effectively with different cultures on a daily basis. Duties and responsibilities involve all standard aspects of building, managing and maintaining the company’s resources in an organised and efficient way.

About the role: 

  • Supporting the Vendor Management Team, ensuring the best resource choices are available for our Production teams
  • Ensuring vendor data is updated in our systems and that all relevant legal documentation is in place and stored in each supplier’s folder
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the Vendor Management Team and other areas as required

About you:

  • University degree, preferably in Translation, Audio-visual translation or a related discipline
  • Excellent written and spoken English with outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well independently, under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of standard MS Office programmes
  • Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and numeracy
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
  • Flexible team player, willing to 'go the extra mile' to get the job done
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Pro-active, forward thinking and positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
