A pioneer in the Spanish broadcast and cinema industry, Sonygraf was first established in 1954 and became VSI Sonygraf in 2016, following several years of co-operation.

Over 60 years of continuous involvement in dubbing and voice-over for film, television and advertising has seen the facilities develop constantly to keep pace with a rapidly-changing industry. Today, the extensive studio complexes in Barcelona and Madrid, equipped with the latest audio and post-production technology, maintain an unrivalled reputation for quality and service in the Spanish market, serving some of the biggest names in cinema, broadcast, VOD and other media.

The main 1,500-metre facility, located in the city centre of Barcelona, houses 7 audio recording and editing studios, 2 theatrical mixing rooms, 3 5.1 mixing rooms and 1 post-production suite.

In March 2017, VSI Sonygraf announced the expansion of its operations, unveiling a purpose-built facility in the heart of Madrid. Encompassing two state-of-the-art recording studios and a Dolby Atmos theatrical mixing room, as well as meeting rooms and a sizeable workspace for supporting staff, the facility complements VSI Sonygraf’s Barcelona location.

In addition to dubbing and voice-over, VSI’s Spanish facilities offer subtitling, sound recording and editing, M&E creation, theatrical mixing and remastering, and more.
