H VSI και το MTV υπογράφουν διετές αποκλειστικό συμβόλαιο

H VSI βρίσκεται στην πολύ ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσει την υπογραφή διετούς αποκλειστικού συμβολαίου με το MTV North για τον υποτιτλισμό όλων στον προγραμμάτων του στα Ολλανδικά, Σουηδικά, Νορβηγικά, Δανικά και Φινλανδικά. Το συμβόλαιο, είναι το πρώτο στο είδος του για το MTV, καθώς καλύπτει μια ευρύτερη περιοχή, ανατέθηκε στη VSI ύστερα από μακρά διαδικασία επιλογής. Στις 22 Ιανουαρίου ο Ron van Broekhoven, επικεφαλής της VSI Ολλανδίας και ο Thomas Popma, επικεφαλής του Τμήματος Λειτουργιών του MTV B. Ευρώπης υπέγραψαν το συμβόλαιο. Τα τελευταία δέκα χρόνια η VSI συνεργάζεται επιτυχώς με το MTV σε διάφορους τομείς και την παρούσα περίοδο η εταιρία μας παρέχει στο δίκτυο γλωσσικές και άλλες υπηρεσίες. Η VSI επιλέχθηκε ως αποκλειστικός συνεργάτης του MTV, για την περιοχή, λόγω του επιπέδου υπηρεσιών, που προσφέρει, της ποιότητας, των υψηλών κριτηρίων εργασίας αλλά και της δέσμευσής της στο ύφος του MTV. Τα γραφεία της VSI στο Χίλβερσαμ της Ολλανδίας θα αναλάβουν τη γενική διαχείριση του έργου, ενώ οι μεταφράσεις και ο υποτιτλισμός θα πραγματοποιούνται ξεχωριστά σε κάθε χώρα. Με μεγάλο ενθουσιασμό η VSI διευρύνει τη μακρά συνεργασία της με το MTV.

Η VSI φθάνει στο Βερολίνο

Η VSI, διεθνής εταιρία προσαρμογής έντυπου και ψηφιακού υλικού, μακροχρόνιο μέλος του IVCA, άνοιξε νέο γραφείο με στούντιο ήχου και εγκαταστάσεις AVID στο Βερολίνο για να καλύπτει τις αυξανόμενες ανάγκες μεγάλων πελατών στο χώρο των προγραμμάτων/εκπομπών στα Γερμανικά.

Ο Norman Dawood, Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της εταιρίας με έδρα το Λονδίνο έθεσε επικεφαλής της ομάδας του Βερολίνου την Ulrike Schubert. Η Schubert, που στο παρελθόν ήταν επικεφαλής του Γερμανικού Τμήματος της VSI στο Λονδίνο, θα είναι επικεφαλής της ενδοεταιρικής ομάδας μεταφραστών, των υποτιτλιστών, των χειριστών κασετών, των επεξεργαστών AVID και των τεχνικών ήχου που θα επιμελούνται όλα τα στοιχεία της διαδικασίας προσαρμογής. Εκτός από τα καθιερωμένα format: Digi Beta, Beta SP, DVCAM και DVD, η VSI εφαρμόζει μία νέα τεχνική υποτιτλισμού άνευ κασέτας, για να ικανοποιήσει τις αυξανόμενες ανάγκες για προσαρμογή υλικού συνεχούς ροής στο Δίκτυο και υλικού που χρησιμοποιείται σε υπηρεσίες κινητής τηλεφωνίας, ενώ παράλληλα επικεντρώνεται στην ανάπτυξη υποτίτλων για HD.

Η VSI στο Βερολίνο, αποτελεί τμήμα των γραφείων της VSI στο εξωτερικό, στο πλαίσιο διεύρυνσης της εταιρίας στην Ευρώπη.

VSI opens London's newest state-of-the-art recording facility

Voice & Script International, Europe's leading subtitling and dubbing company, is excited to announce the launch of its new state-of-the-art sound studio, based at the VSI London headquarters in Cleveland St, W1. Built in the French style, with the actors in the control room and projected text streamers and wipes, but featuring the option of a separate booth if required, the new facility provides clients with further flexibility to record voice-over and complex audio projects. Designed around ProTools HD and featuring a Digidesign C24 mixing desk and Neumann microphones, the new studio offers 5.1 mixing, perfectly complementing VSI's two existing studios. Additionally, the in-house team of highly experienced technical staff offer sound design, audio editing, file conversion and ISDN services, catering for all digital formats and delivery systems.

VSI and MTV sign two-year exclusive contract

VSI is proud to announce the signing of a two-year exclusive contract with MTV North to supply subtitles for all their programming in Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish. The pan-region contract, the first of its kind for MTV, was awarded to VSI after an extensive and detailed RFP process and was signed on 22nd January, by Ron van Broekhoven, Director, VSI Netherlands and Thomas Popma, Head of Channel Operations, MTV Northern Europe. MTV and VSI have enjoyed a successful collaboration in many territories for ten years, and VSI is currently supplying a broad range of languages and services to the broadcaster. VSI was chosen as MTV's sole supplier in the region because of its customer service record, proven quality standards, and commitment to the MTV brand. The work will be managed by VSI Netherlands, based in Hilversum, with translation and subtitling performed in territory. VSI is pleased to be able to extend its long-standing relationship with MTV.

VSI opens Berlin office

VSI, the international foreign-language re-versioning company and longstanding member of the IVCA, has opened a new office with sound studios and AVID suites in Berlin, to handle its growing volume of German language output for major broadcast clients.

Norman Dawood, Managing Director of the London-based company has appointed Ulrike Schubert to lead the Berlin team. Schubert, who was previously Head of the German section at VSI London, will be managing the team of in-house translators, subtitlers, tape operators, AVID cutters and sound engineers handling all elements of the re-versioning process.  As well as working with the established formats of Digi Beta, Beta SP, DVCAM and DVD, VSI has implemented a new method of tape-less subtitling to handle the increasing demand for web streaming and mobile content and is now focusing on developing subtitling for HD.

"We are delighted to expand and open this new facility which will offer our clients the best possible turnaround times and quality," says Dawood,"and with the support of our London-based German department, our capacity will be unrivalled."

VSI Berlin joins VSI's other overseas offices and is part of its continued expansion throughout Europe.
