Press Release - 10/10/2008 Voice & Script International (VSI), Europe's premier subtitling company, recently celebrated the official launch of their Rome sister studio. This development allows VSI Rome, established in 2004, to offer the full range of localisation solutions. The studio is already busy working on content for several broadcasters and film distributors including children's animations, feature films, promos and high-end corporate work. Creative direction at the studio is provided by Claudio Angeletti, a well-respected dubbing professional with many years' international experience.
Facilities include two recording suites, one mixing suite, and a high-spec facilities suite including editing software. All studios are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, based on ProTools HD. The facility benefits from the infrastructure and support of VSI's London Headquarters, as well as the existing team of subtitlers and project managers based at VSI Rome.

Press Release - 29/04/2008 VSI opens London's newest state-of-the-art recording facility Voice & Script International, Europe's leading subtitling and dubbing company, is excited to announce the launch of its new state-of-the-art sound studio, based at the VSI London headquarters in Cleveland St, W1. Built in the French style, with the actors in the control room and projected text streamers and wipes, but featuring the option of a separate booth if required, the new facility provides clients with further flexibility to record voice-over and complex audio projects. Designed around ProTools HD and featuring a Digidesign C24 mixing desk and Neumann microphones, the new studio offers 5.1 mixing, perfectly complementing VSI's two existing studios. Additionally, the in-house team of highly experienced technical staff offer sound design, audio editing, file conversion and ISDN services, catering for all digital formats and delivery systems. Press Release - 24/01/2008 VSI and MTV sign two-year exclusive contract  VSI is proud to announce the signing of a two-year exclusive contract with MTV North to supply subtitles for all their programming in Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish. The pan-region contract, the first of its kind for MTV, was awarded to VSI after an extensive and detailed RFP process and was signed on 22nd January, by Ron van Broekhoven, Director, VSI Netherlands and Thomas Popma, Head of Channel Operations, MTV Northern Europe. MTV and VSI have enjoyed a successful collaboration in many territories for ten years, and VSI is currently supplying a broad range of languages and services to the broadcaster. VSI was chosen as MTV's sole supplier in the region because of its customer service record, proven quality standards, and commitment to the MTV brand. The work will be managed by VSI Netherlands, based in Hilversum, with translation and subtitling performed in territory. VSI is pleased to be able to extend its long-standing relationship with MTV. Thomas Popma and Ron van Broekhoven sign the contract.
Press Release - 07/02/2005 VSI opens Berlin office VSI, the international foreign-language re-versioning company and longstanding member of the IVCA, has opened a new office with sound studios and AVID suites in Berlin, to handle its growing volume of German language output for major broadcast clients. Norman Dawood, Managing Director of the London-based company has appointed Ulrike Schubert to lead the Berlin team. Schubert, who was previously Head of the German section at VSI London, will be managing the team of in-house translators, subtitlers, tape operators, AVID cutters and sound engineers handling all elements of the re-versioning process. As well as working with the established formats of Digi Beta, Beta SP, DVCAM and DVD, VSI has implemented a new method of tape-less subtitling to handle the increasing demand for web streaming and mobile content and is now focusing on developing subtitling for HD. "We are delighted to expand and open this new facility which will offer our clients the best possible turnaround times and quality," says Dawood,"and with the support of our London-based German department, our capacity will be unrivalled."
