The Metropolitan Opera

VSI London is proud to have worked with the New York Metropolitan Opera on English, French, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese versions of operas such as Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, Puccini’s La Fanciulla del West and Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, which were broadcast as part of the award-winning series
“Met: Live in HD”.

We also look forward to providing the Metropolitan Opera with further subtitled versions of opera classics for the series over the coming months.

The “Met: Live in HD” series is broadcast live from the Lincoln Center, New York to more than 1200 venues in 44 countries. The series has enjoyed box office success, selling more than 2.2 million tickets during the 2009-2010 season and winning both an Emmy for Technical Achievement, and a Peabody Award for Excellence in Programming. The Live in HD series is now in its second season of international HD transmissions.
